Luminaria, Utah's biggest and brightest holiday tradition, returns to Thanksgiving Point on November 12.
LEHI, Utah, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Luminaria, Utah's biggest and brightest holiday tradition, returns to Thanksgiving Point on November 12 with more than 10 million lights illuminating the 50-acre Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. Presale is now open, giving guests the first opportunity to secure best priced tickets for the 2026 season.

Running through January 9, 2027, Luminaria will feature several all-new experiences, including Christmas on the Lake, Carol-oke, Ignite the Night, and more. Larger-than-life holiday displays, music, interactive experiences, and millions of lights transform the gardens into an immersive holiday experience for families and friends.
"The magic of Luminaria has never just been the lights, it's the people you experience them with," said Melinda Pike, chief marketing officer at Thanksgiving Point. "At the heart of Thanksgiving Point is creating places where people can gather and connect, and Luminaria brings that to life through the wonder, tradition, and shared joy of Christmas."
Luminaria offers a faith-filled experience through two sculpture gardens by world-renowned artist Angela Johnson. The Tree of Life features 130 larger-than-life bronze figures portraying Lehi's Vision from the Book of Mormon, while The Light of the World Garden depicts the teachings and miracles of Jesus Christ. Together, the gardens offer a quiet space for reflection during the holiday season.
Among this year's biggest additions is Ignite the Night, an original production created exclusively for Luminaria. Presented on a 120-foot LED digital stage, the show combines custom animation, fire, frost, and storytelling in an epic battle centered on redemption, belonging, and the idea that Christmas is better together.
Christmas on the Lake brings a new holiday scene to the water, where towering illuminated trees reflect across the lake and create a new centerpiece within the Luminaria experience.
Guests can also become part of the show at Carol-oke, an interactive holiday sing-along that invites families and friends to step up to the microphone or join in from the audience. The new experience brings people together through familiar holiday music, laughter, and shared moments throughout the evening.
