NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) is launching a powerful national initiative, Every Woman. All Things., debuting October 10 in honor of World Mental Health Day. The campaign brings international attention to the often-unseen pressures carried by women every day contributing to mental overload and elevates the conversation on how to help reduce anxiety and stress in women's lives created by the mindset of having to "do it all."
The initiative highlights the countless roles and responsibilities society places on women—mother, caregiver, leader, mentor, professional, volunteer, advocate, friend and more. The visual representation underscores the real and multifaceted weight of expectations borne by women, both visible and invisible.
"At AJLI, we know that women are the backbone of strong communities, but too often, the many roles and responsibilities put on them go unrecognized—despite the toll they take," said Melanie Schild, CEO of the Association of Junior Leagues International. "Every Woman. All Things. is not just a campaign, it's about bringing attention, action and collective change that women desperately need and deserve. It's a way of saying to women everywhere: we see you, we honor you, and you are not alone."
Through partnerships with Junior Leagues across 296 communities worldwide, the Every Woman. All Things. initiative will bring this message directly to the public.
Grounded in Core Principles
Every Woman. All Things. also stands as a living reflection of AJLI's core mission — promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through effective leadership and action. For almost 125 years, Junior League members have worked collectively to provide women with the tools to lead, serve, and create solutions for some of society's most pressing issues.
This campaign is a continuation of that mission: not only empowering women but elevating the realities they face in constructive and compassionate ways.
"By making this 'weight' visible," said Schild, "we're helping communities understand the daily realities women navigate, and why it's critical to build structures that enable them to thrive—not just endure."
