A global community of leaders unite to drive progress in the field of women's health, which has been historically overlooked and underfunded

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Comma, an integrated period care company, is proud to announce its place as a founding member of the Milken Institute's new Women's Health Network. This selective, global community of leaders is dedicated to accelerating progress on research, funding, and collaboration in women's health. The Milken Institute is a nonpartisan, nonprofit think tank that brings together leaders and innovators to tackle some of the world's biggest challenges.

Comma is one of 75 organizations amongst the founding members of the Women's Health Network. Chaired by former First Lady Jill Biden, the Network serves as a global collaborative that collates, elevates, and advances existing and new efforts in women's health research and innovation. This milestone follows Comma's invitation to the first-ever White House Conference on Women's Health Research in December 2024, an event spearheaded by Dr. Jill Biden. Miller Morris, Comma's founder and CEO, joined fellow pioneers in women's health at the White House to celebrate the Administration's meaningful investments in women's health research and innovation.

"For too long, women's health has been overlooked and underfunded," said Miller Morris. "We are honored to join a network of leaders who are not just talking about change, but actively building solutions to ensure that every woman benefits from life-changing research. This collaboration is crucial for moving women's health from a niche topic to a central focus of progress."

By joining the network, Comma will collaborate with experts from academia, research, finance, and investors to help ensure that innovations in women's health reach the people who need them most. This initiative will establish a digital platform for data sharing and design the infrastructure for a pooled investment fund to support researchers and innovators. This aligns with Comma's mission to challenge the status quo and put menstrual health in the context of healthcare. Members of the Women's Health Network are working to connect and collaborate, share resources, spotlight innovation, and strengthen the entire women's health ecosystem.
