The Washington, D.C., office marks the latest expansion of a practice that has become a significant part of Nachawati Law Group's national litigation platform. The firm represents governmental entities in a range of matters, including:

- Antitrust: Representing states whose workforces and economies have been harmed by anticompetitive practices that suppress wages and limit economic opportunity.
- Opioids and Public Harm: Partnering with public entities seeking accountability for the widespread community harms caused by dangerous products like highly addictive opioid medications.

"Governmental entities have immense responsibilities to the people and communities they serve, and for too long some corporations have abused that trust while causing widespread harm," said practice co-leader Brian McMath. "We're honored to serve as trusted partners to protect their communities, recover public resources and hold corporations accountable."
The Washington, D.C., office strengthens the firm's position as a leader in the field of public entity litigation.
