The Southern California bakery and restaurant chain welcomes summer with tropical flavors, scratch-made comfort food and a chance to win a Super73 e-bike
Placentia, CA (RestaurantNews.com) Polly’s Pies is bringing the islands back to the table for the 35th year with the return of its annual Aloha Specials menu, available now through July 20 at all 12 Southern California locations.
A longtime seasonal tradition, the limited-time Aloha Menu blends tropical flavors with Polly’s signature homestyle comfort food and scratch-made approach. This year’s lineup features three returning favorites inspired by Hawaiian classics and sunny summer flavors.
Guests can start the day with the Malihini Pancakes, featuring two sweet banana-packed pancakes topped with fresh pineapple, real whipped cream and roasted Hawaiian macadamia nuts. The breakfast plate is served with two eggs plus a choice of applewood smoked bacon or sausage.
Available all day, Polly’s take on the iconic Loco Moco layers herbed rice, a juicy burger patty and a sunny-side-up egg beneath rich brown gravy and green onion. Each plate is served with one of Polly’s bakery favorites made daily.

For dessert, the Malihini Pie returns with a Banana Cream pie base topped with glazed fresh pineapple, a ring of real whipped cream and a sprinkle of Hawaiian macadamia nuts.

“For 35 years, our Aloha Specials have given guests something to look forward to every summer,” said Jacklyn Mitosinka, Director of Brand Marketing for Polly’s Pies. “These dishes bring together the comforting flavors our guests know and love with a fun tropical twist that feels like summer in Southern California. Whether guests stop in for breakfast, pie or dinner with family, the Aloha Menu is all about creating those feel-good moments around the table.”
As part of this year’s celebration, Polly’s Pies is also giving guests the chance to win a Super73 e-bike. Guests who sign up for the Polly’s Pies e-club by July 20 will automatically be entered for a chance to win. The winner will be contacted directly by the brand.
Known for its welcoming diner atmosphere, fresh-baked pies and scratch-made comfort food, Polly’s Pies has served generations of Southern California families since 1968. The annual Aloha Specials have become one of the brand’s most anticipated seasonal traditions, marking the start of summer with flavors inspired by the spirit of Hawaii.
The Aloha Menu is available for a limited time now through July 20 at participating Polly’s Pies locations throughout Southern California.
