Organic advocacy, soil stewardship, and sold-out Haymaker mark a milestone sponsorship

DENVER, Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Tractor Beverage Company, the farmer-founded and employee-owned maker of certified organic craft beverages, proudly celebrated its second year as a sponsor of Farm Aid during the festival's 40th anniversary weekend in Minneapolis.

"As Farm Aid marks forty years of standing with family farmers, Tractor is honored to join in that legacy," said Kevin Sherman, CEO of Tractor Beverage Company. "For us, this work is bigger than beverages—it's about protecting soil, supporting farmers, and shaping a food system that can thrive for generations to come."

The weekend began with Tractor's Farm Bill to Table Breakfast at the University of Minnesota's Huntington Bank Stadium, a roundtable conversation that brought together farmers and advocates to explore how the Farm Bill shapes the future of food. Leaders from the Cornucopia Institute and the Organic Trade Association joined faculty and students from the University of Minnesota Student Organic Farm, as well as Minnesota regenerative farmer Luke Peterson.

"Policy matters deeply in how farmers can succeed, and it's encouraging to see a brand like Tractor create space for authentic dialogue," said Tom Chapman, co-CEO of the Organic Trade Association.

For Minnesota farmer Luke Peterson, the gathering was especially powerful. "Too often farmers' voices get left out of the Farm Bill conversation," he shared. "Sitting at the table with advocates reminded me that change begins when we're truly heard."

On the festival grounds, Tractor introduced fans to its newest innovation: Haymaker™, a certified organic apple cider vinegar-based sparkling farmer's tonic. A refreshing take on the traditional farmer's switchel, Tractor's Haymaker resonated with music lovers and farmers alike—selling out completely before the festival concluded.

Beyond beverages, Tractor invited festival-goers to take part in its "We The Soil" advocacy initiative, writing postcards to Congress in support of organic farming provisions in the upcoming Farm Bill. The campaign represented a collaboration between Tractor, The Cornucopia Institute, and the Farmhand Foundation. Attendees joined in, amplifying the call to protect soil, water, and community, and Tractor's playful Soil Mate t-shirts, a nod to standing in solidarity with the land, even caught the attention of CNN in its national coverage of the festival.

Melody Morrell, Executive Director of The Cornucopia Institute, noted that Tractor's approach reflects their investment in the broader movement: "Farmers are the caretakers of our soil, our food, and our future. Tractor's commitment to supporting organic farmers through We the Soil, Farm Aid, and the Farmhand Foundation is one example of the impacts that purpose-driven companies can have in the marketplace."

From policy conversations and farmer voices to sold-out Haymakers and national media moments, Tractor's sponsorship of Farm Aid 40 underscored its mission to champion family farmers and cultivate a future rooted in soil, soul, and solidarity.
